Sharing is caring!

Planning a trip can be overwhelming. There are so many moving parts to consider and coordinate. Where will you stay? How will you get there? What will you do once you’re there? And that’s just the beginning.

But don’t worry, I’m here to help. In this blog post, I’ll share my favorite travel planning and booking resources. From finding the best flights to booking a hotel room, these resources will make your life a whole lot easier. So let’s get started!

Google Flights

When it comes to finding the best flights, Google Flights is my go-to resource. You can search for flights by date, destination, and even cabin class. And if you have some flexibility in your travel dates, you can choose an option like “1-week trip in the next 6 months”, Google Flights will show you the cheapest days to fly.

Skyscanner

Skyscanner is another great option for finding flights. I like that you can search for flights by month, which is helpful if you’re looking for the cheapest time to travel. Skyscanner also has a handy “Everywhere” feature that lets you see the cheapest places to fly from your departure city.

Booking.com

Booking.com is my favorite website for booking hotels. I love that they allow searching hotels on a map and filter out only the ones in your price range, with the selected amenities, and available on the selected dates. This makes it easy to find a hotel that has everything you’re looking for, whether it’s a pool, free breakfast, or a convenient location.

Airbnb

Airbnb is a great alternative to traditional hotels, especially if you’re traveling on a budget. With Airbnb, you can rent an entire apartment or just a private room in someone’s home. I use it when there are more than 2 people staying for the night. If you book a larger place, you’ll be pleasantly surprised about the low price per person. For example, if you go to Sicily with your family, you can find good deals on villas for multiple people.

TripAdvisor

TripAdvisor is one of the best resources for finding things to do while you’re traveling. Just type in your destination and TripAdvisor will give you a list of popular attractions, as well as user reviews and ratings. You can also find restaurants, nightlife options, and more on TripAdvisor. The best part is that there are many reviews written by actual people for almost any activity.

Rentalcars.com

There are a lot of things I love about Rentalcars.com. I can search for a car, filter by price, choose my rental period, and see all the available options in one place. And if I need help, customer service is just a click away. So if you’re looking for convenience, great customer service, and a variety of choices at any price range, Rentalcars.com is definitely worth checking out.

GetYourGuide

GetYourGuide is my favorite tool for planning tours and activities in a travel destination. They have a great selection of activities. No matter what kind of traveler you are, GetYourGuide has something for you. Want to go on a safari? They’ve got you covered. Looking to explore a new city? They’ve got plenty of options for that too.

GetYourGuide always has competitive pricing, so you can be sure you’re getting a good deal for the tours that can be booked online.

Viator

Another great tool for booking adventures and experiences is Viator. They have a great selection of both popular and off-the-beaten-path tours and activities. They also offer competitive pricing, and their customer service is top-notch. Whether you’re looking for a cooking class in Tuscany or a guided tour of the Great Wall of China, Viator has you covered.

Planning a trip doesn’t have to be stressful thanks to these amazing travel planning and booking resources. With everything from finding flights to booking hotels taken care of, all that’s left for you to do is enjoy your vacation!
